German Efficiency

German efficiency Guess I should have known, flight takes off late - doesn't everything leaving Newark miss the takeoff time and we arrive more than an hour late. Add to that the fact that no gate information is on my boarding pass and that Frankfurt airport is HUGE and you could probably hear me panic back in NY. I should have just trusted in German efficiency.  Lots of people around willing to help and direct me off their handhelds, super quick and super thorough security-can we send the TSA here for training?-and I arrive at my gate with enough time that I could have stopped to explore the airport.  The shuttle from gate to gate was right there and moved quickly. Although Croatia Airlines does not post the number of the gate, just the letter but lots of people direct me to the same and correct number.  The girl in the seat next to me assured me that baggage transfer is just as quick, so here's hoping the Croatians are closer in efficiency to the Germans than my fellow countrymen.
